196" Tall - Single Aisle Pallet Rack Retrieval System

This ingenious storage system consists of instantly adjustable pallet racks and a robust gantry crane. The pallet racks work with special steel pallets that slot directly into the rack using tabs on the back of the pallet and the pins in the frame upright; this allows for pallets to be stacked as tightly as possible without wasted air space above or below traditional fixed beam pallet racks. The pallets may be instantly repositioned using the full-length forklift pockets on the bottom of each pallet.

The gantry crane can span over one or two aisles of shelving and can quickly and safely retrieve pallets without using a forklift. A single operator can easily store or move pallets weighing up to 6000 lbs. with minimal training and no required license. The crane can also increase productivity by reducing the number of workers needed to retrieve or store pallets and by improving the travel time for new parts or materials from rack to assembly line. Without the required forklift turn radius, the aisles between shelving units can be reduced, freeing up even more valuable floor space. The pallet crane is also much safer for workers because it eliminates the possibility of forklift accidents or injuries.
