Smart luggage lockers provide travelers, commuters, hotel guests, and venue visitors with secure, self-service storage for luggage, suitcases, backpacks, and personal belongings while maximizing available floor space through flexible short-term rental access. Users can reserve a locker online or through a mobile app for a scheduled period of time and securely access only their assigned locker during the rental duration. When a reserved locker becomes available, users can be automatically notified via text message, email, or mobile app notification and gain access using a secure code, barcode, QR code, or RFID credential. Locker systems are modular and can be expanded to support installations of virtually any size, from airports and transit hubs to hotels, entertainment venues, and mixed-use developments. Units can be installed indoors or outdoors, with optional canopy protection available for exterior environments. Temperature-controlled locker compartments are also available to provide heated or cooled storage for specialty items or climate-sensitive belongings.

Physically, the smart locker systems consist of modular locker banks, with one compartment designated to house the system controller hardware and power supply. A typical locker bank is configured in columns, with each column offering a combination of small, medium, and large locker compartments sized to accommodate carry-ons, backpacks, duffel bags, and full-size suitcases. Each column incorporates a proprietary electronic locking raceway with integrated smart locking devices corresponding to the number of locker openings within the column. Smart luggage lockers are available in a wide variety of colors, materials, and finishes to complement airports, hospitality environments, transportation centers, retail spaces, and public venues.
