24 Total Openings Laminate Smart Locker is a 24-compartment laminate parcel locker locking system for centralized package exchange and secure recipient pickup. The 4 ft. 6 in. W × 2 ft. D × 6 ft. 4 in. H bank is formed from three All Configurations Laminate Smart Parcel Locker units, providing 16 extra-small doors and 8 small doors for a higher opening count within a 54-inch wall run. It suits package pickup areas that need a defined handoff point while keeping deliveries and recipient collection in one location. A 15-inch touchscreen with wireless barcode scanner supports the locker workflow. Designated users place packages in the bank, then recipients receive a text or email notification with a unique access code for retrieval. The system is intended to improve chain of custody by keeping package placement and collection at the centralized locker bank. The touchscreen is installed at a height that accommodates people with disabilities, and the locker is ADA listed. Coordinate one 110V connection within 10 ft. of the touchscreen; a dedicated 110V, 20-amp circuit is preferred. Provide an RJ-45 wall jack for touchscreen internet access where possible, allow at least 2 in. between the locker bank and wall, and avoid a soffit above the lockers for access. Download the free Revit family.
Physically, the smart locker systems consist of a bank of modular lockers with one of the lockers dedicated to housing the system hardware and power supply. A typical bank of parcel lockers is comprised of columns, with each column consisting of either six small lockers per column, a mixture of five or six small and medium lockers per column or two large lockers per column. Each column features a proprietary locking raceway that incorporates the required number of smart locking devices for the number of lockers in each column. Electronic locker systems are available in a variety of finishes to complement or match the environments in which they are installed.
