16 Total Openings Laminate Smart Locker is a 16-opening smart parcel locker bank for centralized package and asset exchange where recipients need notified pickup from small compartments. The 4 ft. 6 in. wide × 2 ft. deep × 6 ft. 4 in. high configuration is built from three All Configurations Laminate Smart Parcel Locker units, concentrating 16 small doors and one touchscreen in a compact wall run. It has no extra-small, medium, large, oversize, or full doors, making it a defined choice for projects handling small package storage rather than a mixed-door locker bank. Use it in lobbies, retail pickup areas, shared-use locations, apartments, condos, and other parcel handoff points that need a centralized exchange location and a clearer chain of custody. The included 15-inch touchscreen and wireless barcode scanner support the delivery and pickup process. When a package arrives, the intended recipient receives a text or email notification. Coordinate one 110V connection within 10 ft. of the touchscreen; a dedicated 110V, 20-amp circuit is preferred. Provide an RJ-45 network drop for touchscreen internet access where possible, or test wireless access at the locker location before delivery. Maintain at least 2 in. of clearance between the locker bank and wall, and avoid a soffit above the lockers for access. The touchscreen is installed at a height that accommodates people with disabilities. Download the free Revit family.
Physically, the smart locker systems consist of a bank of modular lockers with one of the lockers dedicated to housing the system hardware and power supply. A typical bank of parcel lockers is comprised of columns, with each column consisting of either six small lockers per column, a mixture of five or six small and medium lockers per column or two large lockers per column. Each column features a proprietary locking raceway that incorporates the required number of smart locking devices for the number of lockers in each column. Electronic locker systems are available in a variety of finishes to complement or match the environments in which they are installed.
